Memorial Weekend

Dennis and I stayed out at the property the entire weekend, even tho it was kind of cool and stormy. On Sunday we went to church at the old rock church in Fairview and then we drove through all of the small town cemetery's ... and it was so beautiful! This is in Manti.

In Spring City we found the grave of Orson Hyde ... fun to find!! It was a beautiful day and we loved seeing how people still decorate graves. We got to go on a ride on Saturday but it stormed Sunday and Monday. We had fun even tho it was cool and rainy.

We rode on the 'sheep trail', and when we got to the top ... this is what we saw!! Beautiful ELK!!

Mike and Jodi's pool!

Isn't this beautiful? Don't know why we didn't get a picture of all of us "IN" the pool, but these show how gorgeous and inviting it is. It truly makes living in Las Vegas a more pleasant experience!! They sure enjoy the pool and spa (seen below).

Dennis and I made a quick trip to Las Vegas (Henderson) to see Mike and Jodi and their boys. We arrived Friday night and had a good visit, went to a great basketball practice with Talmage and McKay, had a fantastic sandwich at the "Bakery" and a yummy BBQ and swim in the pool. We left early Sun. (Mother's Day) and went to St George where we had a great meal with Dennis' Mom and Vern ... and his sister Karren (who surprised us by driving up to see her mom).

Tending Seth and Spencer!

Wendy and Amy went to Las Vegas for a sister's weekend ... with Jodi ... and I tended Seth and Spencer the day they left until Dave was able to get home from work. We had chocolate pudding pies with whipped cream. Can you tell they loved it?

Spencer is such a crack up ... he gets into his food!! (and is a ham for the camera!)

That weekend it also snowed ... a late spring storm ... somehow snow and tulips don't go together. (Luckily they survived!!)
