Seth's 5th Birthday Party!
You have to understand the relationship Spencer and Dennis have ... it is pretty special. Spencer thinks 'Grandpa' is his favorite person, and you can always find him sitting on his lap, talking to him, following him around, you name it ... he is definitely Grandpa's boy!!
Amy remembered how we used to transport kids when I taught pre-school ... a long rope, with knots on it. Here we are on our way to GymCats ... it was just a couple of blocks away ... and the kids were great and walked hanging on ... so cute!!
Here's the Birthday boy swinging on a rope! They had so much fun ... 18 kids running and jumping and squealing for an hour ... a great birthday party! Happy Birthday big boy!!

Beautiful Wild Flowers!!
We went on a 4-wheeler ride ... over Water Hallow to Log Canyon, up on top and over to Maple Canyon and then back to Fountain Green where we got gas and an ice cream, and came home by way of Big Hallow. It was a 62 mile ride! Up on top we saw these incredible wild flowers. They were amazing (unfortunately the pictures don't capture their true beauty, but it give the idea).
More flowers !! This was over the 24th of July weekend and we were able to stay at the property from Friday night until Monday. We had a great time!
Going up Log Canyon there is a quad trail and we enjoy going up it. Dennis got a picture of me coming up the hill. It is a bit of a challenging trail and we like riding it. The flowers along the trail here were beautiful as well, we just couldn't stop and take many pictures!
Both sides of the trail were these daisy/sunflowers. They were beautiful (but they stunk ... kind of funny to have something so beautiful smell so bad!!). Their beauty out weighed their odor ... and we loved seeing them! An incredible ride and a fun weekend. We went in to Fairview to Church on Sunday and heard Pioneer stories about the area. We rode a total of 100 miles during the weekend. We enjoyed staying in the new trailer.

A New Look out at the Property!
Their eating area ... also known as "the Sacred Grove" ... It stays shady most of the day, which is very nice.
A view from the front. If you look closely you can see the bunkhouse in the back and then our trailer through the trees. David plans to mount his solar panels on a pole up by the front on the trailer.
We moved our picnic table up between the shed and the bunkhouse to give us more room around the trailer. (Because our new trailer is wider we have a little less room under the awning) David and Jen have brought out wood chips to help keep the dust down and it adds to the decor ... we look a lot like a State Park out there now!! Lookin' good!!

Here it is ... all set up and ready for use!
This is taken from the chair looking the whole length of the trailer. The couch is on the left with the eating area next to it. (There is now a nice flat screen TV ont he little stand at the entrance to the bedroom ... thanks to David and Jen!)
Here's my new kitchen ... and it is so nice to have a little more room to prepare meals. The view out the back is one of our favorite as it looks down to our fire pit area and where we spend a lot of restful time!
Our bedroom ... a queen-size bed ... and quite comfy (with the add-ons of extra cushy mattress toppers ... a must for us oldies!!) There is also a door to the right at the end of the bed ... so another exit and a great way to cool us off when it is hot!

The new trailer!!
And here it is ... in place under the awning!! Ron Rosevear met us there and helped Dennis get it in place. (It actually went in fairly easy because we didn't have to have it close to the back side as it needed 4' for the slide out!! Dennis wanted to get it as perfect as possible, and it is darn close ... good job boys!!) Now the fun begins ... getting it all organized the way we want!
A view from the front. This trailer is quite a bit taller than our other one so it fits in the awning a little better.
