Family Christmas Party at David and Jen's - Dec. 27, 2010

Darren and Isis' wedding/ Disney trip!

After the wedding we made a trip to Disneyland and we met Janna, Diane, Claire and Jason!

Ruthie and Dennis waiting for the Mark Twain. We were able to go 3 different times on our passes ... a total of about 13 days ... and now we are going to take a Disney Break (if that is possible???). We will wait a couple of years and let them get some of the construction finished. We LOVE that place ... so this will be a huge challenge for us!!

The 'ice sculpter' is at work again!

The man down the street from us is doing his art work again this year. Here's some characters from Toy Story ... Buzz, Mr. Potato Head, and Hamm. (They look better in real life)

The 'Little Green Man' (Toy Story) was also amazing ... he later added the space ship!!

On Christmas Eve he did a great Santa ... he just got a little dusted with Christmas snow! It is so great to be able to enjoy his talents!

Talmage's Baptism

Here's Mike and Tanner ... before his baptism. He had been sick all night long ... and there was concern that he might not be able to do it, but he said he wanted to be baptized, even tho he wasn't feeling well. It was a great lesson of how Satan can try to discourage us, but we have the power to beat him, and Talmage certainly did! We are very proud of him!

I'm adding this picture of my niece Debra, her girls Abby and Brenna, and Jared Munn, who proposed to Debra on Christmas Day. They plan to be married the first of April. Congratulations all '4' of you! We are so happy for them.

A VERY cold January!

We woke up New Year's Day ... and our outdoor thermometer said -.2 F ... the coldest we have seen for quite awhile!

The snow that we have isn't going any place ... it is just too cold!! We learn to 'tolerate' January because we know it can't last forever and we look forward to the warmer months ahead!

There were over 8" of snow in that storm. In about 3 days we had well over 2 feet of fresh snow.

And THIS is how we handle the winter cold ... with our cozy stove that keeps our family room and kitchen a toasty 72+!

WE LOVE IT!!

We don't feel so bad when the winter cold hits ... not as long as we have a good supply of wood in the shed. (And if you know Dennis, we always have plenty!)

27 together on the 27th!

WE DID IT!! I have been trying to get this taken for a year now ... and thanks to 100% co-operation, a lot of prayers, and good (but cold) weather, and a sweet friend photographer ... here we are ... all 27 of us, on Dec. 27th, 2010. I am so pleased!
