Playing with the Grandkids

The kids wanted to play a game -- so I taught them 'Red Light, Green Light' -- they only moved a tiny bit for fear they would get caught. David was coaching them on the side lines. It was cute!

Wendy is laughing at me because I said I wanted to do a 'shout out' to Amy for working on the layout of our blog ... and she thinks her mother is 'funny' for using modern slang words!! Oh well, I guess I am weird. BUT ... thank you Amy for keeping our blog looking great. We love the new heading ... it looks like us, and the background!!! It is great that our daughters look out for us and take care of our blog. Thanks to Wendy too!!

The new and improved family room ...

During Dad's Birthday Party, we were able to take advantage of the new family room.

Dad's Office

For Dad's Bday his employees had a little fun decorating his office! I thought I would post the pictures that they took of the final product. I'm not sure how much work he was able to accomplish on Friday but it looks like fun! And we know that his employees like him!

Dennis turns 60!!

The kids put on a party for him ... and that meant there had to be a SIGN. Debra and Wendy made it so the neighbors would know as well.

This is today - August 2007. (Hard to tell we did a remodel, right?) Now the yard is in need of TLC - and that will come next. (sometime later!!) It's DONE! YEAH!!!!

The HOUSE is coming ... a few delays...

Just a quick note to give an update on our remodel. The inside was done in record time, and we have been enjoying it during the wedding/reunion time ... but ... the driveway has been delayed because of the monsoon/rains we have been getting. It is hard to pray for NO rain when it is so needed (and the entire state is praying against you) ... so we are being PATIENT (somewhat) and waiting for the next dry spell. In the mean time we are still parking on the street, even though the garage is all done and the door is on. Stay tuned. I will get a picture soon. It is looking great - just not quite there yet!!
