We woke up New Year's Day ... and our outdoor thermometer said -.2 F ... the coldest we have seen for quite awhile!
The snow that we have isn't going any place ... it is just too cold!! We learn to 'tolerate' January because we know it can't last forever and we look forward to the warmer months ahead!
There were over 8" of snow in that storm. In about 3 days we had well over 2 feet of fresh snow.
And THIS is how we handle the winter cold ... with our cozy stove that keeps our family room and kitchen a toasty 72+!
WE LOVE IT!!
We don't feel so bad when the winter cold hits ... not as long as we have a good supply of wood in the shed. (And if you know Dennis, we always have plenty!)

Coldest winter ever... or at least it feels like it. Aren't you glad you're in sunny CA this weekend? :)
It's been SO bitter cold this winter. When is Spring? Thank goodness for the stove it's so warm and cozy.
