Quad Ride with Good Firends!

Here we are ... ready to head out on our ride. We met at our property about 9 a.m. and left about 9:30 for an adventure! It had rained the night before so we were hoping for a fun ride (dust free!!). We were going across Water Hollow road to Log Canyon ... up the canyon to the top and across to Maple Canyon and then down it and back to Fountain Green and back to the property. (60 miles total) L ro R: Gwen and Scott Finlayson, Brent and Candi Bown, Dennis and I, Pam and Brad Kidd. (We all ride with helmets ... so a little harder to identify)

Up Log Canyon ... just before we headed up the 'Quad Trail' ... a bit of a technical/challenging trail, but very fun! We saw several deer, a few mud puddles (which Gwen and Brent did not miss!) and some gorgeous scenery! L to R: Dennis and I, Brad and Pam, Gwen and Scott, and Candi and Brent.

On the 'quad trail'. It was Brad and Pam's first adventure with us and this was a good test for them ... they loved it too (after a couple of scary spots)!! Dennis took this picture of us part way up. The leaves were just starting to turn and it was a 'practically perfect' day. Everyone had a great time and we loved riding without dust!! (A little mud here and there ... but that makes it interesting. Some of our friends judge a ride by how muddy their 4-wheelers are when they get back!)

When we got back to our place (after 60 miles ... we were ready to eat!!) ... we BBQ'd brats and everyone brought salads. We had a yummy lunch. It ended up being a wonderful day and we all had a great time. Fun to go riding with friends who enjoy being out in our beautiful state as much as we do.
