On Friday June 13th - Dennis got off work early and we headed for Fairview to have a recall part replaced on our quads ... then back to the property for a RIDE ... FINALLY!!
We leave in a week for a 4-day quad ride around the Panguitch Loop ... approx. 300 miles ... (we hadn't been out riding yet this year!) This is a picture from along the trail ... it was beautiful!!
Dennis has a favorite ride ... up to "Smith's Reservoir" -- It sits right on top of a mountain ... and requires a little riding skill to get to ... (like going through an 18" deep creek that in the summer is only 3-5"!! Ruthie got her feet wet!) It was a fun ride ... and we feel we are ready for next week. We will be going with our friends from Idaho, the Wilcox's. We realize that it is not our 'bums' that will be sore, but rather our 'thumbs' ~ which push the throttle!! We are looking forward to it. We will see some beautiful country - and we will share lots of pictures.
I couldn't resist the picture with the moon. From here we went back down and rode over to Sheep Creek - which is along Highway 6 (Spanish Fork Canyon) ~ where we had a surprisingly yummy dinner at a very remote cafe. We got back to our camp just at dark.

You two are so much fun!!
Don't you wish those darn bikes had a cruise control?? My thumb and hand would ache after riding. My new sewing machine has cruise control (can you believe it?) can't Dennis rig something up??
Looks like you had a beautiful ride as a preparation for the "big" event! I'm glad that your dinner turned out to be yummy, as it sounded kind of questionable in the beginning. :)
Beautiful pictures!! I can't wait to hear about your adventure next week! You're going to have so much fun!!
SO you did get the TT and not TB then/ SOunds like a long tiring trip from the report I heard from David and then for mom to turn around and goto Prescott and come home to guests and a holiday week... Maybe you can sleep the week of the 9th? That shoudl work out okay, right?
Beautiful scenery pictures. Sounds like you had a fun ride.
