This is probably 'phase 2 or 3' of about a 15 phase project ... removing and disposing of the leaves in our back yard. They don't come down all at once ... it takes place over several weeks/months!! Our neighbor behind us has HUGE trees, and they drop their leaves first in the season ... so our first rakings are mostly Julies!! (She gets ours in the end, so it is all good.)
This was actually one of the smaller piles we had to deal with. Dennis took care of most of them this year ... which meant he mowed/raked and hauled them away on numerous ocassions!!
Proof that there were still many more to come. I've decided I need to blog the seasons of Utah ... as seen through my backyard. I need to venture out there in the middle of the winter and get an all white picture to add to my collection.
This is proof that we do clean them up in between droppings. (A clean lawn only lasts a few minutes) Leaves fall like rain - and it is actually very pretty (but not FUN if they are in your yard!!) Luckily many of our front yard leaves blow away ... the back yard it totally contained ... good and bad!!

Fall is such a fun time in Utah. It's great to see all the different colors of the leaves and I LOVE to drive down the streets and watch it "rain" leaves.
Those leaves are coming down... slowly but surely. You need a big storm to bring the rest of the down. ;)
At least they are pretty leaves to rake . . . we raked Mom's property last week . . . NOT pretty at all!
You're yard looks great! Soon we'll see it covered with snow! Thanks for sharing the season's with us.
