We went on a quad ride ... hoping to get up on Skyline Drive ... but the winter weather has taken a toll of the trails up there. We got Judy's quad stuck trying to get through this snowbank and Dennis had to winch Ron out. We were able to go a little further and met our 'Water-Lu' ... so we had to turn around. We had a fun ride, full of mud, snow, slipping and sliding, water, and a nice lunch.
Here we are relaxing way up high ... and eating lunch. We found these logs and they worked well for our mealtime stop. It was definitely kind of a chilly day on the trail.
Dennis wanted to document my 'muddy' machine. There is actually mud on top of my cooler box!! We got them pretty messy, but had a lot of fun doing it!
On the way back to camp we stopped at this brook ... it was running pretty high and made a pretty picture!! Yeah for spring!

What a fun weekend! I'm glad you're able to enjoy your weekends away... now that the weather is warming up!
Sounds like Dad was in heaven with all the mud and riding! I bet it was nice not to have all the dust on the road though.
